Social Science Surveyors In-Person
This year, Social Science Surveyors will be walking with Henry.
Walking with Henry, an introduction to environmental sociology, is a class for homeschooled middle and high school students.
The class meets Monday mornings at 11:30 at Eckhart Library, 603 S Jackson St, Auburn, IN 46706
We’ll start with the book “Henry Hikes to Fitchburg” by D.O. Johnson and discover what happens when people start interfering with the environment. What if they improve it? Sometimes changes turn out for the better, sometimes they mess up entire eco-systems.
Environmental Sociology looks at this interaction between people and the natural world - come explore!
