The Newbery Book Club In-Person
Did you know that the Newbery Medal is one of the highest honors for children's literature, and it turned 100 years old this year? The Newbery Book Club is designed to promote reading and discussion between kids and the adults in their lives.
This book club is open to 4th - 7th grade kids and the adult of their choosing! We will meet on the third Monday of every month at 6:15 pm to talk about a different Newbery winner or honor book.

9/19/22 - Watercress by Andrea Wang, 2022 Newbery Honor
10/17/22 - Scary Stories for Young Foxes by Christian McKay Heidicker, 2020 Newbery Honor
11/21/22 - The War That Saved My Life by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley, 2016 Newbery Honor
12/19/22 - Everything on a Waffle by Polly Horvath, 2002 Newbery Honor
