The Library will welcome Chad Gramling on Wednesday, October 15th, at 6:00 pm, for a presentation on a local baseball player, Rollie Hubert Zeider.

Baseball fans of all ages are invited to join us in the Assembly Room at the Main Library for Rollie Zeider: A Quirky Stitch in Baseball's Tapestry to learn about the baseball journeyman'scompelling and oft-overlooked life and career.  Zeider's career spanned three major leagues, three Chicago teams, and spawned countless colorful anecdotes. Hoosier-born and Auburn-raised, Zeider’s legacy is a blend of versatility, speed, and small-town charm. Whether you’re a baseball buff or just love a good underdog tale, Rollie Zeider’s journey from sawmill towns to the big leagues is one worth celebrating.
