Calling all adults! Are you tired of doomscrolling? Are you looking for an excuse to get off your couch and meet new people, but the bar scene isn't your idea of fun? Then join other like-minded adults in the Close Community Room every 2nd Tuesday*, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, for Connect & Create.

Participate in a guided craft project, make a new recipe, work on a puzzle, relax with a coloring book, or just bring your knitting and hang out. 

Upcoming Schedule:

• AUGUST 12 - COPYCAT STARBUCKS EGG BITES: Learn to make copycat Starbucks egg bites! Perfect for lunch or breakfast on the go! All ingredients are provided. This session will meet in the Activity Room on the lower level of the Library.
• SEPTEMBER 9 - BOARD GAME NOTEBOOKS: Make a spiral-bound notebook from real board game boards and pieces. All materials are provided.
• OCTOBER 14 -  HALLOWEEN HOUSES: It's spooky season! Join us to convert a ceramic Christmas house into a spooky Halloween house.
• NOVEMBER 12 -  DIY UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS: Bring your own sweater or shirt to create a unique ugly Christmas sweater! No sewing skills necessary! Decorative supplies are provided. Extra sweaters may be available but sizes cannot be guaranteed. This session of Connect & Create will meet in the Assembly Room.
• DECEMBER 9 -  NEW YEAR'S VISION BOARDS: Those pesky New Year's Resolutions are looming just around the corner. Create a vision board that will keep you motivated all year long! All materials are provided.

Registration is required for each session of Connect & Create and closes the day before the session.

This program is open to patrons ages 14 and up.
